Crude oil and the refined barrel.

We trade across the barrel, from the crude that arrives at the refinery gate to the bunker fuel, bitumen and base oils that leave it. Every cargo is sold to a written specification and verified by an independent inspector.

01 — Crude oil

Crude oil

Sweet and sour crude grades traded FOB and CIF into Mediterranean, North West European and Asian refining systems, in part-cargo and full-cargo lots.

Crude is priced against the relevant marker — dated Brent, WTI or the regional official selling price — plus or minus a differential reflecting quality, freight and the delivery window. We work with the grades below and with equivalent streams offered by our supply counterparties.

02 — Middle distillates

Middle distillates

The core of our refined book: automotive gasoil, heating gasoil, jet fuel and kerosene, moved between refining centres and inland distribution.

Diesel is supplied to EN 590 with the cold-flow grade matched to the destination market and season. Jet fuel is supplied to DEF STAN 91-091 / ASTM D1655 and is only ever moved on dedicated, previous-cargo-cleared tonnage with a full certificate chain.

03 — Light distillates

Light distillates

Finished gasoline, blending components and petrochemical feedstock traded between refining, blending and cracking centres.

Gasoline is supplied to EN 228 with the vapour pressure class set for the destination market and season. Naphtha is offered as light or full-range material, specified on paraffin content and density where it is destined for a steam cracker rather than a gasoline pool.

04 — Fuel oils & bunkers

Fuel oils & marine bunkers

Residual and distillate marine fuels supplied to ISO 8217, plus industrial fuel oil for power generation and process heat.

Since the IMO 2020 sulphur cap, the compliance question sits at the centre of every fuel oil trade. We supply 0.50% VLSFO and 0.10% distillate grades for use inside and outside emission control areas, and high-sulphur material only where the buyer operates scrubber-fitted tonnage or a compliant shore-based installation.

05 — Heavy ends & specialities

Heavy ends & specialities

Bitumen for road and roofing contractors, base oils for lubricant blenders, vacuum gasoil for conversion units and LPG for domestic and industrial distribution.

Heavy-end trades are logistics-led: bitumen needs heated tonnage and a receiving tank at temperature, base oils need previous-cargo discipline, and LPG needs pressurised or refrigerated capacity. We fix the equipment as part of the offer rather than leaving it to the buyer.

06 — Renewable fuels

Renewable fuels

Waste-based feedstock and finished renewable fuels, traded with the certification the European mandate framework requires.

Renewable volumes only have value if the sustainability claim travels with them. We trade against ISCC EU or equivalent voluntary-scheme certification, with proof of sustainability documentation issued for each delivery and the feedstock category stated on the contract.

Specifications are indicative. The figures on this page are representative of the grades we trade and are provided to frame a discussion. The specification that governs any cargo is the one recorded in the executed sale contract, verified by the independent inspector appointed for that delivery. Availability varies by market, season and load port.
